This special edition Leica Noctilux f/1 limited edition lens comes with its own humidor. After 66 bids, the currently price on eBay is $7,800. The lens was originally introduced in May, 2008 with a price tag of 10,000 Euros (the French press release can be found here):

Up for Auction is a true collectors piece that is a must have for the Leica enthusiast. There were exactly 100 of these special editions made...this particular lens has never been used and has not even been taken out of the case by myself. I am the original owner. Never mounted....it has sat inside my display case for a very long time. SN is 3985567. It comes with every thing you see in the image...including the original box as well as all the extra items. A Great book "in german" that gives the history behind this infamous lens and Dr Mandler's involvement and passion about this lens....Here is your chance to own one of the last 100 F1's ever made!
For the last 100 Leica teamed up with the world renowned Humidor maker from Paris France ELIE BLEU. (Please research this company for a better understanding of its fine craftsmanship.) ELIE BLEU standard Humidors sell just buy them selves for anywhere from 2,000 USD to 5,000 USD new ....this particular humidor was commissioned by Leica to preserve the Leica F1 lens. Please research
I Paid Just Under 20k USD for this collectors edition and I will include the receipt along with all paperwork. Please see images for the complete package....includes all paperwork...Leica Gloves....,Book about the history of the lens Certificate of Authentication....Extra Piece of Black Sycamore for Humidor repair or maintenance supplied by ELEI BLEU. **Note there is a small chip on the Humidor that I have included in the second to last image.....hardly noticeable but worth mentioning...my house keeper shut the case and its seemed to have chipped....see 2nd to last image. Mostly noticeable when Box is closed so I took an image with it closed....when on display in my case I keep the box open and its not noticeable. Either was its fixable I am sure but its not the serious in my opinion...And as mentioned ElEI BLEU was smart enough to include the extra piece of Black Sycamore if your inclined to fix.
