Leica Portrait: Thomas Hoepker – Leica Hall of Fame 2014 (video)
A member and former president of Magnum Photos, Thomas Hoepker has defined German photojournalism like few others. In this video, he discusses his new book "Wanderlust," his travels around the word and some of his most famous photographs. Thomas Hoepker was honored with the Leica Hall of Fame Award on September 16 at "LEICA - DAS WESENTLICHE" during photokina 2014.

Congratulations to Akademie Instructor Nick Rains who was awarded the AIPP Trave...
Congratulations to Akademie Instructor Nick Rains who was awarded the AIPP Travel Photographer of the Year at the Australian Professional Photography Awards dinner last Monday night. This is the biggest event in the Australian professional photography industry and Nick was awarded a total of one Gold Distinction Award, two Gold Awards and a Silver Award to take out the overall title for the Travel category.
Both of these images were taken during Nick's recent trip to Rajasthan and were taken on the Leica M with 90mm Summicron and 18mm Elmar lenses. Nick will be returning to Rajasthan in 2015 with a Leica Akademie Australia photo-tour.
